These terms govern your use of cvoracle.com, operated by CV Oracle, sole proprietor, based in the European Union. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Your account
You must provide an accurate email address and you are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe. One account per person. You must be old enough to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction (typically 16 or 18). If you suspect someone else is using your account, tell us at support@cvoracle.com.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: scrape the site, hit our APIs with automated tools beyond normal interactive use, attempt to reverse engineer the product, upload resumes or other documents you do not have the rights to, or use the service to generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, or designed to deceive an employer about facts you know to be false. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.
Intellectual property
You own your CV content. You retain all rights to anything you upload and anything the AI generates from your input on your behalf. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to run the service for you (storing it, sending it to our AI processor for rewrites, returning it to you). We own the product itself: the website, the scoring engine, the templates, the codebase, and the brand. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of the product to you.
AI rewrites are suggestions, not advice
The AI features produce suggestions to help you write a stronger resume. They are not legal, career, or employment advice. The output can be wrong, generic, or unsuitable for your situation. You are responsible for reviewing every suggestion and for the final content of any CV you send to an employer. CV Oracle does not guarantee that using the product will get you an interview or a job.
Payment, renewal, cancellation
Paid plans are: 25 EUR per month, 60.75 EUR per quarter, and 180 EUR per year. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period using the payment method on file via Stripe. You can cancel at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal linked from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and we do not prorate partial periods. First-time subscribers may request a refund within 14 days of their first payment; see the Refund Policy for details. Renewals after the first period are not refundable.
Service availability
We provide the service on a best-effort basis. There is no uptime SLA. We may take the service down for maintenance, updates, or because a dependency (Convex, Vercel, Anthropic, Stripe, AWS) is having a bad day. We will try to communicate planned downtime in advance.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CV Oracle's total liability arising out of or relating to your use of the service is limited to the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost job opportunities, lost income, or reputational harm.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the EU member state in which CV Oracle is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer protection rights of your country of residence are not affected.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will email registered users at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
